1 Purpose of the Notice-and-Takedown System
Winderk provides a clear, structured process for copyright holders to protect their intellectual property. This system ensures that:
Copyright owners can request removal of unauthorized content.
Users accused of infringement have an opportunity to respond.
Winderk maintains a balanced approach between protecting rights and user freedom.
2.2 How to Submit a Copyright Claim
To submit a valid claim, copyright holders must provide the following:
Contact Information
Full legal name, email, phone number, and company (if applicable).
Description of the Work
Title, type (text, image, video, etc.), and creation date.
Clear indication of which content on Winderk infringes the copyright.
Location of Infringing Content
Direct URL(s) to the content on Winderk.
Statement of Good Faith
A declaration that the information in the notice is accurate and that the copyright owner has a good faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
Signature
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
Submission: All notices must be sent to copyright@winderk.com.
2.3 DMCA-Style Takedown Procedure
Once Winderk receives a valid notice:
Review
Winderk’s Copyright Team reviews the claim within 48–72 hours.
Content Removal
If verified, the infringing content is removed or restricted immediately.
User Notification
The account that posted the content receives a detailed notice explaining the removal and the reason.
Record Keeping
All takedown notices are logged for auditing and transparency.
2.4 Timeline and Workflow

2.5 Counter-Notice by Users

Content may be reinstated if claim is found invalid.
2.6 Examples & Scenarios
Scenario 1: A user uploads a popular song without license → Winderk removes the post within 48 hours.
Scenario 2: A user posts their own review video of a copyrighted film → Counter-notice may be valid if transformative or fair use.
